Vaccine Educational Video and Information

The spread of misinformation on social media and through other channels can affect COVID-19 vaccine confidence. Misinformation often arises when there are information gaps or unsettled science, as human nature seeks to reason, better understand, and fill in the gaps.

It can be difficult to know which sources of information you can trust. Before considering vaccine information on the internet, check that the information comes from a credible source and is updated on a regular basis. Learn more about finding credible vaccine information.

Accurate vaccine information is critical and can help stop common myths and rumors. Click the Q & A video box link below to hear some of Ontario’s medical professionals answer your questions about COVID-19 vaccines.

If you are interested in accessing information in other languages, you can find resources, including fact sheets and videos, on the Government of Ontario’s website or from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.

Employees who are experiencing vaccine hesitancy are encouraged to review some of the information provided by credible sources, such as Health Canada and the World Health Organization. For more information and resources, check out the HR Vaccine Information Page on Dashboard.

Remember to upload your vaccine receipt (click here) before November 15th. If you are unable to be vaccinated for reasons protected by the Ontario Human Rights Code, you can request an accommodation by contacting your Disability Management Specialist in Human Resources and providing documentation before November 1st 2021.
