New pump track ‘just perfect,’ says enthusiastic young rider

The official opening of Windsor’s first-ever sanctioned bicycle pump track on Thursday was backdropped by whirling cyclists having unabashed fun.

These are young enthusiasts who’ve been riding it daily since it unofficially opened a week ago, eagerly watched its 12 weeks of construction and are former riders of the homemade and unsanctioned dirt tracks — demolished by the city — this new $150,000 asphalt pump track is meant to replace.
