Media Opportunities for Hiram Walker 206th Birthday Celebration
As previously reported, the City of Windsor hosts the Hiram Walker 206th Birthday Celebration July 1st and 2nd, 2022, in partnership with the Walkerville Art Walk 2022.
Media are invited and encouraged to attend the following events as part of this celebration, for stories, interviews and photo ops:
1. Unveiling of the Hiram Walker Commemorative Statue
Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
Hiram Walker Parkette, corner of Riverside Drive East at Devonshire Road
Remarks, sponsor and partner presentation, and statue unveiling
2. Memorial Gathering at the Graves of Edward and Mary Walker
Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 at 11:30 a.m.
St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, 1983 Mary’s Gate Street
Remarks, blessing, laying of wreaths and flowers
3. Grand Opening of the NEW permanent Coach House Historical Exhibition
Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
The Coach House at Willistead Park, directly across lot from Willistead Manor
Remarks, the unveiling of the new exhibition, and first-look tour and photos
