Food and Organic Waste Survey – Have your say!

Did you know that more than 40% of what we put in the garbage is food waste?  And did you know that rotting food in landfills produces methane, a greenhouse gas even more potent than carbon dioxide?

We can do better!

The Essex Windsor Solid Waste Authority in partnership with the City of Windsor and the County of Essex is preparing food and organic waste diversion program that will be implemented by 2025 and we want your thoughts to help us get the best program possible for our area.
