City Splash Pads Close for the Season
Chilly weather will be settling in soon, and today, October 11, will be your last chance to make a splash in one of the City of Windsor’s splash pads. After today, the sites will be closed for the fall and winter.
It was an exciting year for the Parks and Recreation group, adding three new splash pads, bringing the total number in the city to eleven. The new sites, located at Forest Glade Park, Fountainebleau Park and Wilson Park, hosted hundreds of families this summer.
The splash pads will undergo routine end of season maintenance during the next month and we look forward to them re-opening, weather permitting, next May.
